about the gallery...

Wooden Stone first opened in 2004 in the heart of Davidson, a small college town in North Carolina. Owner Drew Crawford aspired to bring together American craft that was both aesthetic and functional in one’s daily life.
Since it’s beginnings Wooden Stone has grown to represent over 400 artists and craftspeople that live and work in the United States and Canada, over 100 of which are native to the Carolinas. Wooden Stone strives to support the efforts of American craftspeople that design and create quality work. The majority of craft represented at Wooden Stone is made in small studios that employ five people or fewer, giving customers the chance to own craft that is beautiful, durable and unique.

The 3,000 square foot gallery in Davidson showcases furniture, pottery, kitchenware, home decor, gifts and jewelry in a wide variety of media, including ceramics, wood, glass, metal, and fiber.
